Emanuel Buchmann (Bora-Hansgrohe) et Steven Kruijswijk (Jumbo – Visma) ont tous deux chuté ce samedi lors de la 4e étape du Critérium du Dauphiné. Ils sont allés au sol au bout de 29 kilomètres de course, dans la descente du col de Plan Bois, et ont abandonné la course. Buchmann souffre de profondes abrasions et Kruijswijk souffre quant à lui d’une luxation de l’épaule.
Gregor Mühlberger (Bora-Hansgrohe) a également été impliqué dans cette chute. L’Autrichien de 26 ans souffre d’une blessure au bras.
Primoz Roglic (Jumbo – Visma) est également allé au sol pendant cette étape. Mais le Slovène est rapidement remonté sur son vélo et est parvenu à conserver son Maillot Jaune de leader.

MEDICAL UPDATE: both @muehlberger_94 and @EmuBuchmann are on the way to hospital for further examinations. suspected arm injury reported for Gregor. Emu has some deep abrasions. it will take a few hours until we get another update. 🤞guys!!
